Watertight Flashlight
Most boats are required to carry a watertight flashlight onboard at all times. They can be used as a light source, to send a distress signal, and can qualify as navigation lights on non-powered boats that are less than 7m in length.
Remember, in order for your flashlight to be approved, the batteries must work!
You can signal your need for help by flashing S.O.S with your watertight flashlight by creating three short flashes, then three long flashes, followed by three short flashes.
