Boating Restriction Signs
Boating restriction signs indicate specific restrictions that may be in effect on certain waterways. These can include speed limits, engine power limits, and even restrictions on watersports activities.
These signs are framed in orange and will depict a symbol which indicates the type of boating restrictions that’s in effect. If the sign is arrow shaped, the restriction will apply in the direction that the arrow is pointing. Some boating restriction signs will have a green border. This means that a special condition applies to the restriction.
Always be aware of the restrictions that are in effect in the waterway where you plan on boating!
