Module 04 - Safe Boat Operation
HOW TO RE-BOARD YOUR SUP BOARD FROM DEEP WATER
Mount the board from the side:
Step 1: Swim back to your board and position yourself on one side of it.
Step 2: Reach across to the opposite side and using the board as leverage, pull your torso up and out of the water. Use the grab handle if your board has one!
Step 3: Position your torso across the board and then swing your legs to the side so that you're lying flat across the board. Paddle with your arms to retrieve your paddle if it has floated off.
Step 4: Once retrieved, brace your paddle across the board, in a perpendicular position and maneuver yourself back on to your knees. Then slowly move back into your standing position.
