WHO ENFORCES CANADA'S BOATING LAWS
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), provincial and municipal police, and other local authorities enforce Canada’s boating laws. Law enforcement officers may inspect your boat and monitor your activities at any time to ensure that you are obeying Canada’s boating laws.
Remember: Canada’s boating laws will change from time to time. As a boat operator it is your responsibility to stay up-to-date on changing regulations. Breaking boating laws may result in fines, penalties or imprisonment.
