SQUIB LOAD (PRIMER POP)
This happens when the cartridge doesn’t contain any gunpowder. The firearm will fire but there won’t be the usual noise or recoil. There may be enough force to push the bullet out of the case, but the bullet may just become lodged in the barrel. If this happens and a second bullet is fired, the barrel may rupture at the blocked point, injuring you and ruining your firearm. We call this the ‘Bang-Bang-POP’ because that’s what you’ll hear! Beware the ‘POP’.
