MISFIRE
This is when a cartridge doesn’t fire at all. Never try to re-use a misfired cartridge and make sure it’s disposed of properly. If a misfire happens to you, hold your stance for at least 15 seconds (60 seconds for a muzzleloader) and continue pointing the muzzle in a safe direction. If nothing happens in that time, you can unload and dispose of the dud cartridge.
