Module 03 - RIFLES 101

STEP 1: Assume the rifle is loaded.

STEP 2: Turn the safety ‘ON’ and point the rifle in a safe direction.

STEP 3: Open the bolt action by pivoting the bolt upward and then pulling the bolt backward or toward you.

STEP 4: Visually check the chamber, receiver and magazine for ammunition.

STEP 5: Grasp the rifle with both hands and point the muzzle in a safe direction.
