SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER
This firearm takes its name from its revolving cylinder that contains a number of cartridge chambers. One chamber at a time will line up with the barrel and hammer. Then cartridges are inserted and removed one at a time through a loading port.
Depending on the manufacturer, the cylinder may rotate either clockwise or counter clockwise.
