Traditionalists love their muzzleloaders but new recruits have also been tipping their hats to this old-fashioned firearm. There’s something special about black powder and loading a firearm from the muzzle.
Modern muzzleloaders are usually reproductions of older designs. The biggest difference between the old and the new is that newer versions will have a breech plug. All muzzleloaders are loaded by hand, through the muzzle.
