Module 07 - MARKSMANSHIP
SAFE ZONE SCENARIO: BIRDS AND SMALL GAME
So picture this: If three grouse hunters were to walk side-by-side across an open field, the middle hunter's zone of fire would be the area directly in front of him in the center of the field. The zone of fire for the hunter on the right would be any birds that fly to the right side. The third hunter's zone of fire would be any birds that fly to the left side. It’s a basic enough concept—the difficult part is making sure everyone sticks to it. You should never hear someone call out “Head’s Up!” during a hunt—if you do, make sure that guy doesn’t get invited on the next trip.
