Get started by thinking ahead. Where are you going to be? What’s the weather forecast for that area at that time of year? At some point during your trip, you’ll probably run into harsh weather or rough terrain (or both). But don’t worry—anything under your feet or falling from the sky is manageable as long as you’re properly dressed and equipped for it:
Your hunting clothing must accomplish these three things:
- Move sweat away from your body.
- Insulate your body for warmth.
- Block the wind and the rain.
