HUNTER OR "BLAZE" ORANGE
The goal of wearing camouflage is to blend into the deep-hued pattern of the woods or to the drab desert-scape of the west. This is to hide you from game animals— NOT from other hunters. So, that means the real goal with your outer layer of clothing is to be invisible and loud at the same time—that’s why we also wear hunter or ‘blaze’ orange.
Check This Out: Who’s Color Blind?...
In case you haven’t heard and you’re sitting there scratching your head, most game animals perceive color differently due to the structure of the rods and cones of their eyeballs (deer for example, see everything in shades of beige and grey) so they won’t be able to see blaze orange.
