Module 08 - HUNTING PREPARATION
THE DOCTORS OFFICE: HUNTERS HEALTH
You don’t need to be capable of doing 500 chin-ups, but being in shape is important to your trip enjoyment and your personal safety. Energy, strength and endurance will come in handy when you’re out there. Think about it, your hunting equipment is heavy, the conditions are often rugged and your body is the machine that needs to be able to carry you, your equipment (and your game animal!) out of the woods at the end of the day.
So, make getting in shape a routine part of your hunting trip prep. Set realistic goals and meet them. Do you want to lose a little weight? Do it. You want to improve your endurance? Do it.
