SLING CARRY
Using a secure sling, simply hang the firearm from your shoulder. The muzzle should be behind you and pointed toward the sky. This carry method conveniently frees up your hands for using binoculars but you should hold onto the sling strap when walking to prevent the sling and firearm from slipping off your shoulder. Never use this carry method when you’re trekking over difficult terrain or through heavy brush.
