FINDING THE SWEET SPOT: WHERE TO SET UP YOUR GROUND BLIND

The best-case scenario is to set up your ground blind at the cross-section of two game trails. The strategy here is to double your odds of the game animal walking by your blind. However, the most important thing to look for is a safe location. Check to make sure you aren’t in the line of fire of other hunters. You also want to make sure you won’t be shooting toward other hunters, toward a road or toward an obstacle.

Check This Out: Butt Relief

Take a folding chair for your backside. Waiting in a blind makes for a long day spent hunched in a squat or sitting on the ground. Especially if you’re duck hunting in a swamp.
