Posting is a tactic used by the VERY patient hunter who doesn’t mind sitting in one spot the entire time they are hunting. Your best bet is to choose a location on a game trail that you know gets some action. There’s not much point manning a post unless you’re confident that you’ll see game. If you’re in a cozy spot, make sure you have enough space around your post to swing your firearm or to pull back your bow.
