ADDERS
Adders or ‘stoppers’ are placed behind regular target or field arrowhead points to prevent the arrow from passing completely through the game animal. They help to prevent the loss of the arrow. There are also larger adders for broadheads—they are designed for those instances when penetration and hemorrhage are desired but not total pass-through (like when turkey hunting).
