TREATING INJURIES IN THE FIELD

Getting injured during a hunting trip can be very dangerous. Think about it, you’re going to be in a location where game animals are—AKA, where people and hospitals aren’t. For this reason, the following injuries would be considered major or life-threatening if they happened in the field: Drownings, burns, heart attacks, broken bones, cuts, bleeding, a fall from an elevated stand, carbon monoxide poisoning or a poisonous snakebite.

Getting a minor injury is an uncomfortable inconvenience and may ruin your hunting trip. Getting a major injury could leave you dead. So stay safe out there and know how to treat the following injuries:
