Module 15 - CONTINUING A GREAT TRADITION
RULE #1: HUNTER RESPECT
Respect—you’ve got to have it, you’ve got to give it, and it must embrace all of the following:
- Wildlife
- Wildlife habitats
- Other hunters
- Non-hunters
- Landowners
- Yourself as a hunter
The hands-down, most important item on this list is self-respect. Go ahead and ask yourself the following questions and make darn sure that the answer is always YES:
- Am I hunting for a worthwhile reason?
- Am I making full use of the game I kill?
- Do I respect the values of other hunters and non-hunters?
- Am I properly educated about the game I’m hunting?
