Module 01 - Paddling Basics:
REGISTERING YOUR PADDLE CRAFT
There are no federal requirements for paddle craft registration. Be sure to check with your state laws or the laws in the state where you plan on paddling, as they may vary regarding paddle craft registration, launch permit rules and other state-specific requirements.
Remember, if you attach a motor to your paddle craft, the rules for operating a motorized boat will apply, including boat registration.
