DEALING WITH INJURIES
No matter the type of terrain, the type of machine you’re riding, or the skill level you have, an accident could happen. Even if you’re wearing protective gear, you may find yourself injured and unable to ride. Additionally, once you get some practice in, you’ll probably want to start exploring adventurous backcountry locations - AKA, places where roads and hospitals aren’t.
You don’t have to be a doctor to be useful out there - you just need to know the first steps of medical response. A little knowledge and confidence goes a long way when you’re faced with an emergency.
